Puma de Bronce & líder de proyectos

I am Pato Albacete

Puma at heart. High-performance sports shaped me in the pursuit of excellence and daily effort. These values guide my present as an entrepreneur. I commit to and invest in projects that improve quality of life and create value for my country.

I was a member of the Pumas national team and represented Argentina in three Rugby World Cups (2003, 2007, 2011). I won a bronze medal at the 2007 World Cup and have been considered one of the best locks in the world.

I built my athletic career in France playing for Stade Toulousain, winning titles in multiple Top 14 championships and the 2010 European Cup.

I am a Professional Ontological Coach certified by the Global Coaching Federation. Since 2022, I have co-hosted the podcast/streaming show "Try Convertido" for La Nación newspaper. In 2025, I released my first autobiographical book, "A Thousand Battles", published by Planeta, which has already reached its second edition.

As a true Aquarian, I feel driven by a constant spirit of innovation. I consider myself creative, always looking to break molds and routines in order to keep pushing forward. My years in Europe and traveling around the world have inspired and shaped my personal vision of a life well-lived.

Today, my focus is on entrepreneurship and generating value for my country. I chose the worlds of wine, real estate, and technology—developing applications through a software factory—as my new fields of growth and contribution.

Five is magical; it’s not just a number. Five are our senses, the elements of Chinese philosophical tradition and the stages of love. There are five of us, the Albacete siblings, and I am the fifth. Five was the number on the jerseys I wore throughout my life.

To play for so many years, you need a great deal of sacrifice and complete dedication. It’s the price you pay to develop your passion and profession at the highest level.

Considered one of the best second row players in the world.

Member of the Ideal Team in the 2007 and 2011 World Cups.

Something kept echoing in my mind: the certainty that rugby would eventually end and my life would go on. I had that conviction and beyond the promise I made to my father in my youth, I chose to study. I’m an obsessive perfectionist who doesn’t like knowing things halfway.

My Education

My father always encouraged me to study, and so, in parallel with my athletic development, I pursued an academic path. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, a Master’s in Marketing and International Business from TBS (Toulouse Business School) and a Master’s in Banking and Financial Markets from Tech University.

I love innovation, creativity, handling large amounts of data and connecting it all as if by magic. I thrive on novelty and boredom terrifies me.

My projects

I look to the future with eagerness and hope. I will keep on learning. When I turn back and look at the past, I smile with gratitude. My driving force is that the best is always yet to come.
